You cannot step twice into the same river,
for other waters are continually flowing in.

I wanted to blog about new things. New beginnings and such. But I am at loss for words today. Not that it is a bad thing, just a kind of quiet peace in my brain. Nothing running on, no wheels turning. Before I head out to work in the flower bed I want to share some new beginning pictures.

Remember this...

As I was carefully watering my floppy fern yesterday I found this...

I looked at that and thought wow, they are so new, they have their whole birdie lives ahead of them. I still havent built any bird houses. Maybe I will and see if any of these stick around. I know nothing about birds.

I was leaving my friends house last week and I noticed as I stepped off of her steps there was something green trying to poke out of her driveway. The drive is made of rock and mudlike cement mix.Is that right? So I was like what on earth. I watched this thing grow each day and was amazed. This little bud is growing in the busiest place of this entire household and has not been stepped on yet. Nevermind that there is no grass near, this spot is not what you would call fertil soil. I am so impressed with this little thing I took my camera over there and took a picture.

Talk about strength, determination and courage. This little fella has made me take some time out of my day and think, wow, The Lord has a plan for everything. If this little fella doesnt make it at least we know he made it long enough to make me take a stutter step and pause to appreciate new beginnings.

Another new beginning, my sister is staying with us for a while to try and get on her own feet after a divorce. My nephew is here as well...he is a new beginning that amazes me every single day.

Thank you Lord for sharing your children with me. Please send your angels to wrap their wings around each and everyone of them and keep them safe. I am so truely blessed. May the Peace of The Lord be with you all.
