One of those days?

I have a word for when I am feeling insecure,needy and nostalgic...I call it my "kooky" day. Then there is the day when I want some alone time, quiet and a bit unsociable with no conversations or requests of me...that is my "crabby" day(because like the crab that I am, I want to crawl into my shell) Next, I have a day where I refuse to act like a grown up, I say silly things and make up names for my days...this one is my goofy day. There is my ooh so favorite day where I don't do any dishes, or cook, or clean or even go to town...I love this one...it is of course my "lazy" day.
But what about today?

I will probably spend no more than the time it takes to blog this to come up with a name for today, but rest assured before I am done I will have a name for this day.

I was awaken with a gentle kiss goodbye from my guy this morning as always. That was one of the many things he agreed to nonverbaly when we decided to cohabitate. Bless his heart...please wake me gently, least I grow horns and spit fire throughout the day. A gentle kiss on the cheek before you go is perfect. Now, granted if the house is on fire a shake is perfectly acceptable.

This is to good to even go any further...while the baby was watching Dora, he poured a whole bottle of sour salt onto the couch...and got it in his eyes, I had been writing a good 20 min. here...I got up to clean up the salt and the baby came in and hit something and I lost all I had written. I can only laugh and shake my head...whatever this day is called...it will indeed be ONE OF THOSE DAYS.

Hello Again

Hello, Hello! Yes I have been gone...for a bit anyways. I have been taking care of my nephew who is almost two and wow wow wow! I had almost forgotten how time consuming it is. That being said I intend to fill everyone in and get you all caught up to speed.

My sis is finally made it home from Alaska(she was working on a salmon boat)and has gotten a job as a tech assistant for Sprint. She is working towards getting a place of her own.
My son(who is in the marines) came in for a surprise visit. It was so nice.

Other than that I have just been Nana and of course ever devoted housewifely. I ha vent kept a journal or anything but I have a few things rattling around upstairs that I would like to share and will do so...hopefully today...once I get the baby down for a nap
Mainly my depression is what I would like to talk about...oh dint worry its not a sad kinda thing. Getting better actually, better everyday.

Hello to all, yes I am still alive.
I have been very very busy with my nephew, who just left for his fathers for a month.
My sister...on a boat in Alaska and loving it.
I hope everyone is well! I am going to play catch up asap!

My first garden seems to be doing well...


I used some cilantro and jalapenos from my "salsa" bucket the other day. That was really neat to go outside and pick something and bring it back in and eat it.
Here is my salsa bucket...



I have cabbage and tomatoes that amazed me...I cant wait till I can harvest these!

My summer starts with mothers day...







Mini rose bush from my guy...flowers from my boys...yellow rose bush from a very dear friend...a phone call from my marine...a perfect card and eternal love from Jacob and my sister...a wonderful mothers day to start the summer day!

OK here we go with the summer days...

First and foremost..........exercise & get ready for the bathen suit day.....



Next is go to town and buy a pool day....





Next is fill up the pool day....


Then theres ride the 4wheeler while Aunie grills for family day....



A visit from my brother who has been clean off of drugs for 9 months and I haven't seen since then day....this is the same day as the grilling day...



And last but not least the same thing we do everyday....water the garden day...



And today as everyday....I don't have a picture...missing my best friend day...

I started this diet on May the 12th and today is the fouth day in, I have lost 5 lbs. I am pretty sure this is water weight. I have been eating different and drinking 4 bottles of water a day. I used to drink.....0....bottles of water a day. I am also keeping a journal that adds up my caloric intake as well as the other important stuff. I am hoping to lost at least 20 lbs by my birthday in July!

OK I am reaching out I need all the help and advice I can get. I only have a few people that look here but if you would so kindly extend your hand and grab a few friends and send them this way I would sooooo greatly appreciate it.

My beautiful nephew/grandson so to speak is living here with me. My sister is trying to get on her feet after a divorce and I am trying to help. We are at 17 months old and trying to potty train....we need advice and help and everything you can give will be greatly apprecaited......

A very relaxing weekend!


We had a double birthday cookout here Saturday. My wonderful sister and my precious daughter. The babies swam and I grilled. We had BBQ chicken, tater salad etc. etc. the usual BBQ stuff. What made it a good cookout was the company. Friends and family taking the time out of our busy lives to kick back and visit with one another and spend some quality time making memories.



Sunday we loaded up the boat and headed to the lake to have a picnic with the leftovers which were even better the second time around.



We took my nephew Jacob in the boat for the first time. He love it so much he fell asleep.







That was after my boys spent an hour or so in the park and on the shore first.

My best friend gave me that quote with a picture on it last year. I have had it on my frig. ever since. I moved away from dark times and into a bright beautiful future and left behind something that brought me happiness in that dark place. It was Shelley... she is what you would call a "soul mate best friend". Over 23? years and still counting.



I miss her. I miss our "coffee talks" I miss the BLAH BLAH BLAH! I miss being needed, I miss crying with her but most of all I miss laughing with her. Snot bubble laughing, what were we talking about, omg my stomach hurts laughing with her.



I pray that my children find a lifelong friend like I have, I hope she knows how much I love her and miss her and even though she is too busy for her own good I know that our friendship will last our lifetime even tho we don't get to find shelter in speaking with one another like we used to.
