My beautiful nephew/grandson so to speak is living here with me. My sister is trying to get on her feet after a divorce and I am trying to help. We are at 17 months old and trying to potty train....we need advice and help and everything you can give will be greatly apprecaited......

Cyndi, you're not going to like my advice. 2 of my 3 kids did okay on potty training, but they were nearly 2. My middle son kept going back and forth, so finally I gave up and stuck diapers back on him for awhile until he got to where he was uncomfortable and WANTED to be trained. Saved me a lot of grief and clean-up, and saved him from me getting impatient! Good luck. Does he like pull-ups??? Rewards??? They're all different, aren't they! Vickie
